Key Responsibilities:
CCTV System Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, recording systems, and monitoring equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and power supplies are functioning properly.
- Perform troubleshooting for hardware and software issues related to surveillance systems.
- Adjust camera angles, focus, and positioning to optimize coverage and eliminate blind spots.
- Respond promptly to service requests related to CCTV and network issues.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve connectivity issues impacting the CCTV system.
- Coordinate with vendors or service providers for advanced technical support or equipment replacement.
- Install and terminate network cables (Cat5, Cat6) and fiber optic cables for data transmission.
- Conduct fiber splicing and test performance using tools like OTDR testers.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including cable layouts and labeling schemes.
- Monitor the health and performance of CCTV and network systems.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams for basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain inventory records for cameras, cabling, and spare parts.
المهارات
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in CCTV systems installation and maintenance.
- Proven experience with network cabling and fiber optics installation.
- Familiarity with NVR/DVR systems, IP cameras.
