Civil Design Senior Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft and generate and perform civil engineering analysis and design new or improve structures using engineering tools and software while ensuring the compliance with international standards.
• Guide consultants' work through proper phases of submittals (Draft, Final, Tender, and IFC packages), and review the produced documents accordingly.
• Generate cost estimations, technical specifications, tender documents, and ensure compliance with FIDIC conditions of Contracts, in terms of (COC, SPECS, DWGs, BOQ, MOM, and Annex).
• Prepare cost estimations, technical specifications, data sheets, and tender documents.
• Review technical consultants’ recommendations and reports.
• Follow up on issued civil designs during the on-site construction phase with technical teams.
• Collect and verify design data by inspecting sites, reviewing existing drawings, and meeting related technical staff.
• Investigate work sites during the design process to ensure correct, safe, and easy installation.
• Check the as-built civil and steel structure engineering drawings.

 Qualifications:

•  B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of (8) years of experience in a related field.
• Good knowledge of Project Management practices.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, material properties, and design standards for civil and steel structures.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (English & Arabic).
• Team player and can work in a team-based environment.
• Excellent computer skills.
