Senior Electrical procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for electrical systems and components.
• Manage Supplier/Vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and project timelines.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with engineering, Project Management, and construction teams to align procurement with technical Specifications.
• Monitor and survey the market and explore opportunities for cost savings without compromising the specified quality.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations.
• Prepare detailed procurement reports and maintain efficient documentation.
• Implement performance monitoring and supplier evaluation metrics to drive improvements.
• Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and develop contingency plans and mitigation measures

Skills:

• Electrical Engineering Qualification is required (higher degree is plus).
• Experience in industrial projects procurement for minimum 5 years and total of 10 years.
• Professional in using Codes, Standards (certificates in plus).
• Excellent in English language (reading, writing and speaking).

• The successful candidate should be a non-smoker.
• The type of contract will be a service agreement.
