Budgeting & Forecasting Section Head

• Job Summary:
  Arab Potash Company is looking for a Budgeting and Forecasting Section Head, the candidate will be reporting to the Budgeting and Forecasting Manager, and he/she will be responsible for preparing and supervising the financial planning and analysis process including the annual budget (Capex and Opex), long-term business plan, monthly forecast, and periodic variance analysis. Also, he/she will be responsible for financial reporting in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparing the annual operating budget and capital budget that is aligned with the company's business plan and strategy using Oracle Hyperion planning tool
• Preparing financial forecasts on a monthly basis and related presentations to the Board of Directors, and Executive Management
• Prepares financial reports for use by Executive Management and the Board of Directors including monthly analysis of variances as required relative to budget and financial targets.
• Responsible for preparing the quarterly and year-end financial statements in accordance with international reporting financial standards (IFRS).
• Review requests for capital spending for compliance with the company's procedures.
• Prepares monthly reports and forecasts of the company's financial position.
• Provides advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.
• Conducts feasibility studies, and reviews business cases.

• Job Requirements:
• BSc from a recognized university in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• A minimum relevant experience of 7 years.
• Professional qualification CMA, CPA, or CFA is a must.
• Planning, research, and analytical skills in addition to attention to details.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and IFRS.
• Experience in BI and visualization tools (Hyperion and Power BI) is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a must.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
