Job Summary
Marine Engineer with solid experience in maritime and industrial environments, including hydraulic systems and diesel engines. Responsible for supporting maintenance activities to ensure availability and reliability of production and marine equipment. The role focuses on executing preventive and corrective maintenance, assisting in equipment modifications, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of systems in line with operational requirements.
Executive & Technical Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for marine and production equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failures and implementing effective solutions.
- Support senior engineers in major maintenance tasks and equipment overhauls.
- Follow approved maintenance plans and schedules for plant and offsite equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and housekeeping practices.
- Participate in inspections and condition monitoring of equipment.
- Assist in preparing basic technical reports and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with other maintenance sections and operations when required.
- Proper use of tools, spare parts, and maintenance resources.
- Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the supervisor.

Job requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or 2nd Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency, with a GPA of Good or higher, and registered with the Jordanian Engineers Association or the Jordan Maritime Commission.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in marine and/or industrial maintenance environments.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance practices for diesel engines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiar with safety procedures and risk assessment practices.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of CAD and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good understanding of international standards such as ASTM, AISI, and ISO is preferred.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and under operational pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
