Mechanical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams.
• Completing blueprint designs using CAD software and making appropriate adjustments once the end user and other engineers representing all stakeholders have seen them.
• Ensuring that all engineering and manufacturing processes are in keeping with the health and safety regulations of the company and kingdom of Jordan.
• Supervising staff, manufacturing processes, and making appropriate recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborating with other engineers and technical personnel to develop instructional and training manuals where required.
• Conducting research on field developments and networking with other engineers and professionals.
• Liaising with end users and writing up reports to present to stakeholders and other relevant parties.
• Ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.
• Scheduling meetings and training sessions when necessary.
• Ensuring that staff remains motivated by implementing feasible incentives and regular team-building sessions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferable.
• Previous project management experience in industrial field sector.
• A relevant license and certification in the field of project management like PMP.
• A relevant courses and certification in the field of contracting management.
• A relevant license in the field of occupational safety and health.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• The ability to motivate staff.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime if required.
• Excellent skills in excel, power point, word, MS project, AutoCAD.
• Excellent skills in reading and analyzing engineering drawings.
• 10-15 years of experience working in the projects and engineering field.
• Age less than 40 years.
