Purchasing & Tendering Superintendent

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and select capable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and optimize supplier relationships.
• Managing suppliers, conducting supplier audits, and ensuring compliance to the quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and finance, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, identify alternative suppliers, and implement contingency plans.
• Implement process improvements to enhance procurement processes, reduce lead time, and improve cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing, delivery schedules, and warranty agreements.
• Define and implement procurement strategies aligned with company overall strategy and objectives.
• Identify and implement cost-saving activities related to cost optimization initiatives.
• Utilize technical knowledge to evaluate supplier capabilities and product quality to ensure optimal procurement decisions.
• Ensure procurement practices adhere to legal and ethical standards which comply with the company code of ethics.

• BSc from recognized university in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial).
• At least 10 years of experience in procurement/tendering/ purchasing /supply chain in reputable company
• MBA or master’s in industrial engineering is preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic & English; Reading, speaking, and writing.
• Safety awareness and commitment
• Capability to conduct commercial analysis for big projects.
• Ability to review the feasibility studies.
• External certification is a plus.
• Good knowledge in ERP systems
• Ability to work within teams.
• Having excellent experience with Incoterms and supply chain
