Job Description

Job Summary

  • Lead the execution, coordination, and follow-up of assigned projects at the Ghor Site from initiation through completion and closeout.
  • Participate in project planning, tender preparation, and technical evaluation of bids, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, progress, and key deliverables to ensure compliance with approved project objectives and milestones.
  • Review contractors’ work programs and schedules, identify delays or deviations, and follow up on the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, APC departments, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective and timely project execution.
  • Review engineering deliverables, drawings, method statements, material submittals, and other technical submissions for compliance with project and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, and applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
  • Identify and monitor project risks and issues and coordinate the implementation of appropriate mitigation and corrective measures.
  • Verify contractors’ progress, payment applications, variations, and change orders against actual work performed and applicable contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate and follow up project inspections, testing, commissioning, punch-list activities, and the issuance of provisional and final acceptance certificates.
  • Monitor contractors’ obligations during the Defects Liability Period and ensure that outstanding works, defects, and contractual obligations are properly addressed and closed out.
  •         Ensure assigned projects are successfully delivered and closed out in accordance with the approved scope, budget, schedule, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Skills

Job Requirements

  •          Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related Engineering discipline with credible professional certifications is a must.
  • A minimum of (10) years of experience in project management and construction supervision.
  • Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or CAPEX projects is preferred.
  •          Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak Arabic and English are a must.
  •          High proficiency in computer and Microsoft applications
  •          Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
  •          High integrity with a personal commitment to employee health and safety
  •          Team worker and must be able to respond to off-hour emergencies.
  •          Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively.
  •          The preferred age is below 40 years old.
